Mile 17.5 reroute open for riding

Despite experiencing intermittent rain on and off over the past month, the newly established reroute is officially open for riding. It opened just in time for the May Mohican MTB 100 race. Thanks to the participation of hundreds of mountain bike riders for the race, along with 700 runners for the challenging Mohican Trail 100, the reroute has been benched to ensure it remains accessible and enjoyable for all riders. If you haven’t had the chance to travel this section yet, be sure to include it in your next ride at Mohican. You’ll truly appreciate the experience of riding back through the forest coupled with the smooth flow of the trail as you go.
