Short on time but looking for a challenge? The Short Loop packs plenty of adventure into just 6 miles, featuring punchy climbs, technical features, and rewarding descents.
The ride begins with a demanding two-mile climb to get your legs working. Around Mile 3, you'll tackle a rocky climb through a technical rock garden before enjoying a fast, flowing descent to the trail junction. Turn left at the junction to continue on the Short Loop, where a fun stretch of downhill—including several water bars—leads to a short but punchy climb before the trail winds back to the main trailhead and campground entrance.
Keep in mind that the first 4 miles of this route are bidirectional, so stay alert, ride in control, and be prepared for oncoming riders.
