Sno-Mo is a favorite starting point for a moderate ride, featuring rooty singletrack, steady climbs, and a fast, flowy section through a mature pine forest. Extend the ride by continuing through the campground and returning via a mix of MTB trail and park roads.
Expect roots, switchbacks, and several climbs early on. At the park road, turn right and pick up the MTB trail on the left. From there, tackle a sustained climb, a fun descent, and a steep punchy climb before dropping through a technical rock garden toward the campground. Scenic overlooks along the way offer great places to stop.
As you cut through the campground, it's just a short ride to the camp store if you need water, snacks, or a quick break. Continue onto the Short Loop toward the Mile Marker 4 picnic table, then wind through scenic hardwood and pine forests before reaching Mile Marker 8. Here, you'll transition onto the park road toward the covered bridge. After crossing the bridge, prepare for a long climb back up the park road to the Sno-Mo entrance and mountain bike trailhead.
