About the Trail

This route begins at the Mountain Bike Parking Lot or Change House and links together two distinct sections of the Mohican trail system: the first 8 miles and the 30.06 segment. Along the way, you'll pass the iconic covered bridge, one of the park's most popular photo spots.

The first 8 miles are bidirectional, so stay alert for oncoming riders. A long, steady climb awaits within the first two miles, followed by another sustained climb on the park road after crossing the covered bridge.

Throughout the ride, expect classic Mohican terrain with rocky sections, root-filled singletrack, technical rock gardens, fast descents, and plenty of flowing trail. The combination of challenging climbs, rewarding downhill sections, and scenic park landmarks makes this route a great introduction to some of Mohican's best riding.
