25 Volunteers, One Mission: Restoring the Trail After the Storm
Recent windstorms in north-central Ohio caused significant damage to the trail this past week, leaving large sections blocked by fallen trees and debris. Fortunately, we had an outstanding turnout of volunteers—25 members and non-members—who stepped up for an emergency trail day to help with cleanup efforts.
From 9 a.m. to about 4 p.m., volunteers worked steadily across several miles of trail, cutting and removing obstructions to restore safe passage. Thanks to their dedication and teamwork, the trail was returned to a rideable condition in just one day.
In total, nearly 100 downed trees were cleared in the past week—an impressive accomplishment that highlights the strength and commitment of our trail community.
