About the Trail

Ready for a ride with plenty of variety and a few technical challenges along the way? This 16-mile route combines steep climbs, rocky sections, fun descents, and scenic views for a ride that keeps things interesting from start to finish.

The first couple of miles feature steep climbing, followed by a pair of rock gardens that add a technical challenge early in the ride. Along the way, you’ll cross a wooden bridge and pass a scenic gorge overlook from the trail. During the fall, the overlook between Miles 7 and 8 is an especially great spot to take in the changing colors and views into the Gorge.

At Mile 8, you can turn left and pedal about 50 yards for water before turning around and continuing back on the route. Don’t expect the return trip to feel like a repeat—the trail takes on a completely different character when ridden in reverse, offering a fresh perspective on the climbs, descents, and technical features you encountered on the way out.

Keep in mind that this is a bidirectional route, so stay alert, ride in control, and be prepared for other riders traveling in either direction.
